Magic in the Everyday
Brigitte Kouo is a multidisciplinary, style-agnostic designer with a formal background in architecture, art history, and visual culture. Her architectural work is informed by an appreciation for history, decorative arts, and culture high and low. She is interested in the potential for beautiful tension where the new meets the old. She prefers for there to be something existing to respond to and push against rather than a blank slate. Her detours outside of architecture into the worlds of brand strategy, product innovation, and consumer insights have positively impacted her ability to understand and incorporate client wishes and project goals.
